Anyway, until bad things disappear from the face of the earth, there will always be enough incidents to fill the news, especially when billions of smartphones turn most of the world\u2019s population into criminal journalists and war correspondents. Reading these, however, is a waste of time and energy. If the newspaper had been published once every 50 years, it would not have reported half a century of famous gossip and political scandals, it would have reported on current global changes, which certainly include an increase in life expectancy.<\/p>\n
